A partnership with Alsace Wines

This November, we’ve partnered up with Alsace Wines to showcase a hand picked range of wines from a variety of producers at a selection of our restaurants.

Over 90% of the Alsace Wines come from a white grape that is grown in the Alsace region. This vineyard area is split into two main factors, the Vosges mountains in the west and the Rhine river in the east.

Because of its Germanic influence, it is the only region in France to produce mostly varietal wines, typically from similar grape varieties to those used in German wine. Along with Austria and Germany, it produces some of the most noticeably dry Rieslings in the world, as well as highly aromatic Gewürztraminer wines.

The wines are produced under three different AOCs: Alsace AOC for white, rosé and red wines, Alsace Grand Cru AOC for white wines from certain classified vineyards and Crémant d’Alsace AOC for sparkling wines. Both dry and sweet white wines are produced here.

The partnership is running throughout November at Le Pont de la TourQuaglinosPlateauOrrery Launceston Place and New Street Wine. Book a table and enjoy an Alsace wine with us.
